Congratulations to the softball team for placing 2nd in the Division 5 section championship.  Congratulations to the baseball team for making it ti the semi-finals of the Division 6 section championships.  We are very proud of your athletic accomplishments and first class representation of MCHS athletics.

Looking for a Summer Job or full time work after graduation? Check out the Job Opportunity Board outside the counseling office for full and part time employment openings.

 

Yearbooks are on sale in room 7, for $70.  Buy yours now before they're sold out.  Checks can be made payable to MCHS.

 

QUEST Community Counseling is having an open house on Thursday, May 25 from 3-6. They are located behind River Rock Inn. QUEST Community Counseling also offers college prep services and dyslexia screenings.

 

FOOD SERVICE NEWS

 

Its that time of the year to crack down on negative meal charges.  If you have a negative balance you will not be allowed to charge a meal.  Please take the necessary steps to pay off any negative debt that you may have.  Thank you!!

 

SENIORS

Sober Grad Guest Tickets are on sale in the student services office for $20.00

Sober Grad Nite is free for all graduating seniors and seniors may purchase 1 guest ticket. Guest pass applications for Sober Grad Nite can be picked up in the Student services office.  The deadline for turning in guest passes for approval is Monday June 5th at 3 pm; late guest pass forms will not be accepted.

Seniors must have all detentions and fines cleared before tickets can be purchased.

COUNSELING/GUIDANCE NEWS


 

SPORTS REPORT           

 

There is a mandatory meeting for all girls interested in playing soccer for mchs next year on Thursday at lunch in room 52. The meeting will be the first ten minutes of lunch.

 

Attention Grizzly Football Players:  We will not start Spring Football this week as originally scheduled.  Instead we will start next Tuesday May 30th, 3:15 pm on the upper field.  Spring Football is mandatory unless excused by a coach.  Please turn in your White Card if you haven't done so already.  We still will have Strength Training this week Tuesday & Thursday at regular times.


 

CLUB NEWS

 

SAGA is meeting Tuesday (every Tuesday) at lunch in Mr. Jewell’s room.

 

Anyone interested in playing chess can meet in Ms. Monson's room 23 at lunch Tuesday and Thursday.

 

Dance club will meet on Wednesday and the end of year party will be on Friday June 2.

CLUB NEWS

 

The trap club had a competition this weekend. Mitchell Green took 2nd place in Kingsburg this past weekend. Shooting a 98 out of 100 and then shooting 25 straight again in the tiebreaker to win. He missed his first two birds out of the house and went another 123 shots without missing earning him his 100 straight patch.

 

There will be an Academic Decathlon meeting at Lunch on Tuesday.  We will get together to organize our team and make decisions about study time.
